Employees are always friendly! This hotel is always clean, the food is delicious, and the athletic club is the absolute best! I am never disappointed with my visits here. The architecture is beautiful and has a boat vibe to its' design. Love it.

I have gone to the restaurant a few times and always highly recommend it. This morning my friend and I had an awesome experience with the wait staff during our breakfast. Awesome people and very professional. Again I would recommend this place to anyone if they want a nice breakfast experience, greatly appreciated!

Lovely historic hotel in famous old downtown Anchorage. Room was nice though a little warm. Opened the windows to fix that. Service, food in restaurants, etc was exceptional. Would have given 5 stars but two suggestions: In a suite, put the refrigerator in the living area. My husband awakens several hours before I but couldn't get to the refrigerator because he didn't want to wake me. Second, the curtains in the bedroom area would not completely close and the rising sun literally shot right through that opening. Maybe place a few Velcro strips to enable complete closure. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel!

We were here as part of our cruise. We spent an extra day to walk around Anchorage. The property is well maintained. We found the staff to be friendly and professional. We would stay here again even if we were not part of a cruise.

You can take several days and still not see all the amenities and shops this hotel has to offer. The food is excellent, the people are even better. I love staying here!
